The songwriting camp is mainly for young and professional talents from The Nordic countries and the participants have been chosen through an open call.

The participants for FISC'23 have been selected.

On 2 - 9 August 2023, the Faroe Islands Songwriting Camp will be held for the first time.

Selected artists from across the Nordic countries meet for the first time to write music together.

It is the first time a camp of this size and professionalism is maintained here in the Faroe Islands.

The camp takes place over one week and we will not know the musical outcome until it is finished.

Could it be a new big hit that we get to hear for the first time here? Or a final song in Eurovision? Maybe even a song or two that will find a place on an internationally recognized artist such as Justin Bieber or Dua Lipa's upcoming album?

No matter what the results are, you will have the opportunity to hear the first rough sketches on 8 August in Tórshavn.

The event will be ar Norðurlandahúsið on 8 August at 17.00 and is open and free to everyone.
